Olivia Paquet -- I’m going into my senior year at the University of Rhode Island as a Communicative Disorders major, hoping to one day work as a Speech Language Pathologist to help younger children learn to communicate. Over my past 2 years as a Boatwright intern I’ve learned many problem solving skills, leadership skills, and gained a larger understanding of ways to communicate with different people. Now, entering my third year as a Boatwright I’m excited to share my expertise with our new interns while enjoying the summer with the great RIGA staff and working with different member clubs to serve golf all over Rhode Island.

Brady Garthee -- I am from Lincoln and I'm entering my sophomore year at the University of Rhode Island as a Business Management and Sports Media double major. At URI, I am a part of the University’s Honors Program, a member of the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and a student recruiting and scouting intern for the University of Rhode Island Football Team. In addition, I have asserted myself academically as a member of the University’s Dean's List. This is my first year as a Boatwright Intern and I am very excited to work with the Rhode Island Golf Association. I hope to gain knowledge about the ins and outs of running different tournaments, learn more about the media side of sports, and expand my love for the game of golf. I have always been surrounded by the game of golf and being a Boatwright Intern is a great honor and privilege.

Gianna Ramos -- I am from Warwick and I'm entering my sophomore year at the University of Rhode Island as a Communicative Disorders major, hoping to one day become a Speech Language Pathologist who will work with children and those with intellectual disabilities to help them learn how to communicate. I am very excited to work with the amazing staff at the RIGA this summer to help grow my knowledge about the game of golf, but also learn skills that will stick with me throughout my professional endeavors. I am looking forward to attending the tournaments this season and meeting all of the talented players! Hope to see you on the course soon!
