It was a Playoff finish for this year's Overall Champion in the Ryder Cup between the team of Kibbe Reilly/Nancy Diemoz and Janet Field/Nancy Chaffee. Both teams ended Day 2 with a two-day total of 153, however, after their first playoff hole, the team of Field/Chaffee emerged this year's Champions! Congratulations!
Reilly/Diemoz did go on to capture Overall Net with a 2-day score of 140- Congratulations !
This weeks Low Gross & Net Winners were the teams of:
Gross:
Flight 1 - Hanna/Ferrara with a score of 84
Flight 2 - Hebert/Fafard with a score of 90
Net:
Flight 1 - Gertz/Moretti with a score of 69.5
Flight 2 - Giovine/O'keefe with a score of 71.5 (MC Back 9 Net Score)

The team of Janet Field and RIGA Hall of Famer Nancy Chaffee got the association’s women’s Ryder Cup competition off to a flying start on Tuesday at Crestwood, capturing low gross honors with a 76, two strokes ahead of the field.
The format had each two-player team competing at better-ball on the front nine and then selected drive, alternate shot on the back nine. Doreen Martin and Carol Clarey took low net honors in flight one with a 70.5.
In flight two, Melodie Hebert and Darlene Fafard took low gross honors with a 90. They won on matching cards after tying the team of Jessica Brier and Laurie Given. Net honors were taken by Deborah McMahon and Jacqueline Armillotto with a 68.
The field was the smallest of the season in women’s play, 32 players.
Entries all still being accepted for the second day of the Ryder Cup play, which will be held June 14 at Pawtucket.
