Tournament Schedule Past Champions
Tuesday, August 8th - 18 Holes Stroke Play Qualifier
Sudden Death playoff (if necessary) immediately following the completion of play for 16th and 64th place.
Wednesday, August 9th - 18 Holes Match Play AM - Winners advance
Thursday, August 10th - 18 Holes Match Play AM - Winners advance
Thursday, August 10th - 18 Holes Match Play– PM - Winners advance
Friday, August 11th - 18 Holes Match Play—Final Matches AM
Eligibility: Male and Female junior members and caddies of clubs affiliated with the RIGA or full time RI residents who will not reach their 19th birthday by August 11, 2017.
Format
Divisions for Match Play
Championship - 16 Players
First Division - 16 Players
Second Division - 16 Players
Third Division - 16 Players
Dress Code: Proper golf attire is expected. Collared shirt and Slacks or Knee length shorts only. Examples of attire not acceptable: short shorts, cargo shorts, athletic shorts, jeans, jean shorts, tank tops and t-shirts.
Cart and Caddie policy: Players are permitted to employ a caddie. A parent, teacher or coach are not eligible to caddie. Motorized carts are not allowed. Spectator carts are not available.
Conditions/Schedules: The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.
Important: Entries must be received by August 1, 2017. If a player wishes to enter a tournament after the entry deadline, and if there is an available spot for that player, there will be an additional charge of $25.00.
